Well One Direction certainly know how to spring a surprise by releasing new single 'Drag Me Down' that no one had a clue about!
This is their first single as a four piece, but you honestly couldn't tell that they have been anything other than that. The track sounds a lot more mature than their previous music but not completely different. Also, it is a bit more up-beat than most of their last album. You can totally hear the musical influences behind the sound and it is a track that goes beyond the teenage girls which they are typically aimed at. It shows that they are serious musicians, if their previous #1's and sold out tours etc didn't tell you this already.
Listening to it, you can completely envision it being performed in a huge stadium and totally owning it! You can clearly hear each individual voice and I feel it shows them off more than some of the previous singles, which is important as it is them showing the entire world that they can still do well, just the four of them - something that shouldn't really matter, it is their music that should talk!
How long do you give it before 'Drag Me Down' is at #1 everywhere? I'm not giving it long and it defiantly deserves to be!
